Εκεί, που κλαίνε ουρανοί
και η γης γίνεται μάνα πόνου,
μάταια η ψυχή θρηνεί
μπρος στο βάσανο του χρόνου.
Εκεί, που η ύπαρξη γυρνά στο τίποτα
μες στο σκότος της Aβύσσου,
κραυγές και λόγια ανύποτα,
που ίχνος δεν θα αφήσουν.
Εκεί, που το νόημα πεθαίνει
και η αλήθεια αργά σε πνίγει
κενό μονάχα απομένει
και η ζωή με το τέλος σμίγει.

Υπό το άχθος ενός νόμου
Εμμονικώς περί των Eιδώλων
Στο λυκόφως ενός Tρόμου
και με Εγώ εν αμφιβόλω!
Όμως τι άρωμα είναι αυτό
άνθους σήψης θείας;
Ευλογία και κατάρα
ανέλπιστης ελεύθερίας.
Ο Θεός είναι νεκρός
και εγώ ακόμα πιο μικρός!
Μα είμαι νόημα και σκοπός
είμαι δαίμων και εαυτός.

Χαίρε Σάτυρε εκστατικέ,
πατέρα αρχαίε και άδελφε!
Χαίρε Φοίβε ονείρικέ,
όμορφε και λογικέ!
Χαίρε Ευτέρπη λατρευτή,
έρωμένη μοναδική!
Χαίρε Μελπομένη τραγική,
του ανθρωπίνου η αρχή!
